200 Tech Square Repositiong

200 Tech Square is Alexandria Real Estate’s newest ground-breaking renovation project in Cambridge, MA. The initial phase focused on modernizing the building’s infrastructure, including mechanical and electrical systems, while introducing essential system enhancements such as a new building generator and cooling tower. Additionally, the lobby and core bathroom facilities throughout the building underwent renovation improvement. Phase 1 of the 200 Tech project also include the fitout of Mispro Vivarium. Tight Line Construction was the subcontractor for an excellent project team from Cranshaw Construction, the Construction Manager of the project. TLC’s scope of work included:

1. Non-Structural Metal Framing, Batt Insulation, & Drywall

2. Furnishing & Installation of Doors, Frames, & Hardware

3. Monolithic Gypsum Acoustical Ceiling (AcoustiBuilt)

4. Aluminum Drywall Reveal & Trims

5. Vivarium Requirements: 16 Gage Framing & Hi-Impact GWB

6. Joint Firestopping

7. F&I of Specialty Integrated Fire Pocket Doors

8. Exterior Cold-Formed Metal Framing & Sheathing
