Tight Line Construction, Inc. was selected by Gilbane Building Co. to be the Framing & Drywall subcontractor on the Amazon Charlton project in 2022. The Charlton Fulfillment Center is Amazon’s largest design model, consisting of 5 levels and 2.8M square feet. TLC utilized BIM to engineer, design, order, & pre-fabricate built-up cold-formed steel framing for over 422,000 SF of exterior envelope. Tight Line’s scope also included interior load-bearing metal framing, non-structural metal framing, drywall & insulation, GWB shaftwall assemblies, joint firestopping, and installation of doors, frames, & hardware.
